About 3 hours in photoshop, enjoyed painting this, but i cant seem to get the point of focus right.. as there isn't one, it was 1st designed to hold a creature from hell, might still do dunno.

I like the hues of the lava in this; how it's a bit more pink than just burning red -there's actually a fairly realistic feel to it.
I'm not sure if you really need to use the 'depth of field' blurring effect for this, though - often times that is used when you're dealing with smaller-scale things to get that "macro photography" look. It's making this world feel a bit tiny right now. Adding some atmospheric haze in the background would probably work a bit better in evoking a larger scale for this.
